Car Care Tip

SAFE WINTER TIPS FOR YOU AND YOUR VEHICLE -Have problems(hard starting, rough idling, lack of power, etc) corrected and have the filters(air, fuel, etc) replaced. -Add a bottle of fuel de-icer to the tank once a month to keep moisture from freezing in the fuel lines. -Replace old and worn wiper blades and keep the windshield washer solvent full. -Be sure the heater/defroster is in good working condition for comfort and driver visibility. -Have the battery check to make sure it is good condition and check that the posts/connections are clear of corrosion. -Inspect all exrterior lights and bulbs; replace any burned out bulbs and keep lenses clear of road grime. -Check tires - worn tires will be little to no use in winter weather. Maintain proper tire pressures(let tire "cool down" before checking the pressures). For better driving results, use snow tires on you vehicle.
